Welcome to Astrology Update for June 2018!
There’s a strange combination of stability and volatility in the air this month. June 1st and 2nd have a serious feel, while the next couple of days may find us surprised by unpredictable events or completely caught up in our own emotional reactions. And so the pattern goes for most of the month.
Pay special attention to mid-month, June 12th to 14th, when the personal planets switch signs and make contact with karmic lord Saturn and Uranus the awakener. We are being asked to receive a message at this time about how we treat what we most value in our lives.
If we love and value someone or something, now is the time to show it. How? We’re using current planetary energies wisely when we watch our emotional reactions and avoid confrontations wherever possible (Venus-Pluto opposition). Giving of our time to a friend or organization in need is another wonderful way to focus our energies this June (as Mars in Aquarius hooks up with the Nodes, Jupiter and Uranus).
The opportunity is present for deep transformation in the way we relate to others and to our community. Step up: your hands and hearts are needed.
May the Sun shine upon you,
ASTRO-PLANNER JUNE 2018
June 12-14: Keep your calendars as uncluttered as possible and opt for some relaxation time, or take care of routine activities
June 13: New Moon at 22 degrees Gemini – a good time to set a serious intention for the month. Communication projects are favored. Avoid gossip!
June 22: Sun moves into the sign of Cancer – Happy Birthday, Cancerians!
June 26: Mars stations retrograde at 9 degrees of Aquarius. Expect things to slow down as the weekend approaches and plan for delays. If you’re travelling, have a back-up plan and stay patient. Extra time may be needed to move about and technology may be flakey
June 28: Full Moon at 6 degrees of Capricorn. Similar to the New Moon, there’s a heavy-weight energy surrounding this Full Moon. And with Mars moving so slowly, delays are almost inevitable. Stay calm. And may you realize the ambitions you set at the New Moon! At the very least, something needs to be weighed and balanced; at the most, it will be cemented
