From Scorpio to Sagittarius, November 2026: Release

Greetings Dear Astrology Lovers,

November is the month for moving from the depth of profound new personal understandings into the light of integrated action.

The first part of the month remains inward-turning, as we continue to work with both mind (Mercury) and heart (Venus) energies in their “yin” mode. After the 13th of November, new vigor and clarity emerge, and we can look forward to more active, “yang” energies as Mercury and Venus end their retrograde cycles.

May November gift you patience, deep joy and love —

MINDFUL NOVEMBER PLANNER

November 1: The month begins with both Mercury, our mindset and communication planet, and Venus, our planet of love, money and values, retrograde. Double-check travel plans, appointment times and email messages, and practice extra courtesy on the roads and when standing in line. At times it may feel as if the whole world has gone crazy, abandoning common restraint and decorum. Keep calm and carry on.

November 9: The New Moon lights our path at 16° Scorpio, inviting us to begin again. With both Mercury and Venus still retrograde, intentions set at this time could do well to focus on the inward journey. You may be figuring out your relationship or spending patterns at this time, or coming to some profound realisations about how you spend your time and how you may wish to change certain patterns in the year ahead. In other words, it is not yet the time to initiate change in the outer world. Be patient and bide your time.

November 12–13: Venus ends her deep-dive retrograde journey at 22° Libra and will begin moving forward through the last degrees of Libra and through Scorpio once again.

On the 15th of December, Venus will end her post-shadow phase, passing the place where she turned retrograde on the 3rd of October. What does this mean for us? The window from the 13th of November to the 15th of December is a rich time for moving over familiar ground — but with a new awareness — as we begin to implement our revised values. Clarity and refinement is a process over these weeks; allow cycles to complete rather than beginning new ones.

This post-shadow period of Venus is doubly rich, as Mercury also ends its retrograde journey on the 12th.

Make the 12th and 13th days of adjustment — being extra mindful to show up on time and follow through with your promises. These are also wonderful days for ordering your working space, as clutter may have built up since early October.

November 22: The Sun rides into Sagittarius — many happy returns, dear Sagittarius friends! This move of our Solar Source from the fixed water sign of Scorpio into the mutable fire sign of the centaur uplifts the general mood and invites us to generate fresh energy in our days as we build toward the Full Moon.

November 24–25: The Full Moon at 2° Gemini shines a bright light on change. Sudden shifts, new communications, surprising messages, or AI breakthroughs may arrive. With Mars and Jupiter closely connected, we may feel ready to adventure into the unknown — as if our cup is full to overflowing and certain dark days are behind us.

Take care not to rush about, as Mars is at the final degree of Leo, urging us to prowl rather than race. Be on the lookout for fresh opportunities!

On the evening of the 25th, action planet Mars enters Virgo and we truly feel a shift of pace. Take a clear snapshot of what is going on in your life now, as Mars will be spending more time than usual in Virgo, retrograding there in January 2027. We may feel inclined to be less brazen and more discerning in both our choices and our actions.

May the Sun shine upon you this November,
Catherine xo

Extract from ‘The Prophet’  ‘On Self-Knowledge’:

And a man said, Speak to us of Self-Knowledge.
And he answered, saying:
Your hearts know in silence the secrets of the days and the nights.
But your ears thirst for the sound of your heart’s knowledge.
You would know in words that which you have always known in thought.
You would touch with your fingers the naked body of your dreams.

And it is well you should.
The hidden well-spring of your soul must needs rise and run murmuring to the sea;
And the treasure of your infinite depths would be revealed to your eyes.
But let there be no scales to weigh your unknown treasure;
And seek not the depths of your knowledge with staff or sounding line.
For self is a sea boundless and measureless.

Say not, “I have found the truth,” but rather, “I have found a truth.”
Say not, “I have found the path of the soul.” Say rather, “I have met the soul walking upon my path.”
For the soul walks upon all paths.
The soul walks not upon a line, neither does it grow like a reed.
The soul unfolds itself, like a lotus of countless petals.
