Period March 19/20 – April 18

This month we are dealing more with chunks of time and the quality of that time than individual dates, so please read accordingly.

March 19 – March 23: Sun moves into Aries at 11:49 pm EDT. This heralds the vernal equinox in the northern hemisphere and the autumnal equinox in the southern hemisphere. This is an extremely powerful time as the equinox is followed swiftly by a Mars-Pluto conjunction (and a Moon-Neptune conjunction): the effects of the current situation, a world-wide slow-down and closing of borders and businesses due to the coronavirus, could intensify at this time or the situation could change very rapidly. Can you remain calm and remember that every cycle has a beginning and an end?

March 22/23 – July 1: Saturn moves into Aquarius. Enormously important time as it sets the tone for the zeitgeist from mid-December 2020 (when Saturn will re-enter Aquarius and remain there) until March 2023. We all need to draw together at this time. Meditate, pray, share, be positive, connect on social media in an uplifting way. Aquarius is the symbol for group consciousness and we have a foretaste of the future from now until July, when Saturn will dip back into Capricorn. Early July could be interesting as we revisit the 29th degree of Capricorn while Mars enters Aries, a traditionally aggressive placement. Stay centered and find your tribe

March 24: New Moon at 4 degrees of Aries (5:28 am EDT). Begin again, there’s always something new that’s waiting to be born. Consciously let go of any negativity at this time

March 31: Mars moves into Aquarius and joins Saturn. Note what is going on in your life right now as there will be an echo at the winter/summer solstice on December 21, 2020. This could be a turning point in the current global situation – whatever the case, there will be a lot of global activity during this period

April 3: Venus leaves Taurus and enters Gemini where she’ll be for much longer than usual due to her retrograde motion. People with strong Gemini placements will have a lot of time to go over the same ground until they move into a new paradigm later in the year. Think on this: Venus usually spends only one month in a sign

April 4 – exact – but this energy will be felt both before and after (and again in June and November): Jupiter conjunct Pluto in Capricorn. This is a year-long energy which gives great opportunity for establishing new perspectives – as we are experiencing, the effects of Covid-19 are forcing us to do just that. Capricorn is always about action on the earthly plane and governments will indeed have to adapt constantly to the ever-changing landscape. How can you see this time as an opportunity to establish a new perspective in your life? In every challenge there is a growth opportunity. Recall our theme for the year: getting rid of dead wood in order to bloom.

April 7: Full Moon at 18 degrees of Libra (10:34 pm EDT)

April 11: Mercury finally leaves Pisces and enters Aries. We will most likely see more clearly now the way forward for the nation and the globe. Whatever the case, we are in for economic change which will have long-term effects. You may wish to read my ideas on the broader perspective of the coronavirus

Be well, love and light,
Catherine
