From Cancer to Leo, July 2025: The Journey Inspires

Greetings Dear Astrology Friends,

July continues the themes begun in June, with increasing emphasis on dynamism. We are being invited by the cosmos to embrace irrevocable change and to move forward with courage and flexibility.

In June’s blog we covered planetary energies coming forward onto the world’s stage and we saw this so clearly with the rapid movement of global events in the Middle East. This period continues, in varying degrees of intensity, until the end of 2026. 

What is new in July is that Uranus enters the palace of the gods, enabling it to commune with Saturn, Neptune and Pluto. This happens when Uranus moves into a new sign, Gemini, on July 7.

The move of Uranus into a new sign this month creates two important geocosmic patterns (or midpoint pictures) between itself, Saturn, Neptune and Pluto.  These patterns often signify the collapse of old orders and the creation of new ones, and will amplify the changes taking place this year and next.

Gemini is an air sign, so pay attention when the wind changes direction, and act accordingly. Global markets and governments continue to be volatile, even when they appear to be stabilizing. Uranus already carries an unstable, lightning-fast energy within its core, and it is now moving into a mutable air sign.

So relax – a deep relaxation – based on the knowledge that your life is under the influence of Higher Forces. Make the appropriate efforts now:

  • take care of your body
  • take care of your family
  • be grateful for what you have
  • enjoy the peaceful moments
  • help others & model positivity.

Don’t waste time worrying about the future! The quality of life you lead today is what is most important. Our thoughts create our reality, so let’s awaken to this fact.

MINDFUL JULY PLANNER

3rd – 7th: Venus conjunct Uranus. Expect fireworks in more ways than one! The planet of money/love meets up with the planet of change. A great time to revitalize our intimate relationships. And they may need our attention as both Venus and Uranus change signs from Taurus into Gemini over this period. Let’s give ourselves permission to let go and flow!

 

10th: Full Moon at 18° Capricorn opposite the Sun in Cancer. An auspicious time to find the balance between work and relaxation. All the elements are activated at this Full Moon – fire, earth, air and water – we can aim to bring our priorities into alignment now. Getting organized at home, or planning renovations, is favored with Mars in Virgo.

 

13th – 18th: Saturn moves retrograde at 1° Aries, and travels toward a conjunction with Neptune – however, these planets will only truly “join” in February 2026. Let’s not sit around waiting for regimes to fall! Creating art, planning our fantasy holiday and paying attention to money matters, are good alternatives, especially as Mercury moves retrograde on the 18th. Our businesses may experience an adjustment of pace now.

 

22nd: Sun moves into Leo – happy birthday dear Leo friends! With the Moon at 0° Cancer, this is a day to enjoy with loved ones as we settle into summer. Once again the world’s axis is activated, so stay tuned to the direction of the wind…

 

23rd – 24th: New Moon at 2° Leo – time to inspire ourselves or others into beginning something new! With the Sun and Moon receiving a flowing trine from both Saturn and Neptune, new ventures are off to a promising start! The Sun and Moon are also opposite Pluto at this time. New power structures may be revealed now, so pay attention if the tailwind shifts direction. Avoid confrontations with authority figures.

 

31st: The month finishes with Lady Venus moving into luxury-loving Cancer, and beginning her journey towards bountiful Jupiter – we may wish to treat ourselves at this time!
