From Gemini to Cancer: Awakening Light in June 2025
Greetings Dear Astrology Friends,
June is another turning point for humanity’s consciousness – and each one of us is a part of this unfolding story!
With Saturn’s move into the initiating sign of the zodiac (Aries) at the end of May , we now have two major gods (Saturn/Cronus and Neptune/Poseidon) of the pantheon sitting on the throne of the world’s stage. This planetary placement heralds major shifts, and the potential for the evolution of consciousness for those who wish to grow mindfully.
On June 9, Jupiter will enter into the cardinal sign of Cancer, reactivating this sensitive point for the world, and joining Saturn and Neptune in the throne room. The energy released during this time is initiating and powerful.
When we look around, we see change and upheaval in almost every sector of global governance and trade. As this change unfolds and picks up speed, each one of us has the potential to change too. It is a good time to let go of structures or ideas which have run their course and try something completely new in our daily life. A new work profile, a new image, a new relationship, a new philosophy… go for it!
We can gracefully let go of shoring up family or work structures which clearly are no longer valid for our current reality. It’s a time to think new thoughts and wake up to the fact that life is very different now.
Our life is only as limited as the ways we think about things. So set yourself free by allowing the reality of your circumstances to penetrate and adjusting your outlook accordingly. Everything is relative! And the world we grew up in is irrevocably gone forever.
With three major planetary gods at the beginning of cardinal signs, things can shift very quickly if we keep an open mind and an open heart. Let go of the past and step into the Now.
Saturn and Neptune in Aries encourage us to work from a place which does not need rewards but rather works for the sheer joy of being alive, willing and able. Jupiter in Cancer invites us to nurture those around us without expectation, like the care of a mother for her young ones. Compassion is the key.
With Jupiter looking at Saturn-Neptune this month, we are offered ample time to reassess our motivations with regards to our work. Follow what you love —

1st: The month begins with strong energy! The Leo Moon hooks up with Mars, inviting us to heal old wounds. Let’s keep calm and say less now. As the Sun and Mercury are dancing together in Gemini, may we not be persuaded to say too much and then regret it!

6th: Venus moves into Taurus and builds to a square with Pluto. Venus will be in Taurus until July 4 so let’s enjoy good food and wine without breaking the bank! The Venus-Pluto square until the 10th calls for the grand gesture – a 100 red roses for your love? (So much for budgeting!)

6th – 9th: Jupiter is now sitting at the very last degree of Gemini (and is close to Mercury). We may feel the urge to complete projects begun last May, or to finalize pending contracts. Stay centered and you won’t get swept up into a flurry of paperwork or over-commit to meetings!Â
Cancer is a water sign: allow space for new feelings to emerge this week. This could be a time of serious emotional reflection, as Mercury squares Saturn and Jupiter amplifies the process. Let’s take it easy.

10th – 11th: Full Moon at 20° Sagittarius, square the Moon’s Nodes. A time for stepping outdoors and feeling the Sun on our face. A time for connecting with soul friends. A time to receive energy and act with vitality and optimism!

12th – 19th: The square between Jupiter and Saturn will become exact on the 15th and then wane — but we will feel. it during this entire period. In fact, it is one of the most important aspects of this entire year. This square marks the opening angle since the conjunction of these two planets on December 21, 2020. It asks us to reflect on society’s changes since this time. How are we doing? With Neptune drawn into the mix on the 19th, religious zeal and idealistic dreams may take our mind off emerging challenges. A good period for creators and artists!
