About the Mentorship Program

Working as a consulting astrologer requires more than having a theoretical knowledge of Astrology. When you work with a client, you are engaging with a real person with real issues in the present moment. How do you relate their reality to their chart in real time?

You are also confronted by your own automatic reactions, feelings and judgements as the session gets under way. Finding the attention to be with the chart, to be with the client, and to keep watch over oneself, takes practice.

This program acknowledges the challenge of consulting. It offers guidance in a field which can feel isolating at times. It aims to bring theory, practice and service together in an atmosphere of respect for our Great Art. It celebrates our humanity and the important counsel we provide in today’s world.

Where

All mentorship sessions will be held online. We will be working together in real time. 

When

Once a month on a Saturday, from October 2026 to March 2027; we will meet for three engaging hours. Proposed time 10:30am – 1:30pm Eastern (to be confirmed)

Commitment

Your commitment to the group is for 6 months, which includes pre-session work, opportunities to share your consultations, and post-workshop feedback.

Is this program for me?

  • You are conversant in astrological language and can read charts
  • You have completed some kind of formal astrological studies
  • You are eager to share your case studies in a supportive environment and receive both technical and emotional feedback
  • You feel a strong need to improve your astrological consulting skills
  • You are reliable, trustworthy and sincere about your astrological practice.

What will each three-hour workshop involve?

  • Each week BEFORE we meet, a student (or couple of students) will submit their consultation work to me and I will send it out to the group so that we can prepare in advance for the class. There may be some reading involved.
  • During our workshop we will share our insights into the chart and discuss the themes, joys and challenges that came up for the astrologer
  • If theoretical teaching material arises, we will allow this in, and cover the subject appropriately
  • If smaller break-out rooms are needed for discussion or practice, we will utilize these
  • After the workshop is over, there will be a space for processing, and we will allow each session to inform the next one.
