From Pisces to Aries, March 2026: Find your Spring!

Greetings Dear Astrology Lovers,

Here on the East Coast of the United States, we have certainly felt the power of Saturn’s ingress into Aries, its 36-year conjunction with Neptune, coupled with a solar eclipse in February. Extreme weather conditions brought mountains of snow to our doorsteps — and a new perspective on slowing down.

Elsewhere in the world, the dissolution of outdated global structures and systems that we spoke of in last month’s forecast played out vividly in Iran, just as during the last conjunction of Saturn-Neptune in 1989 when the Berlin Wall fell.

There is more change to come as we prepare for the total lunar eclipse on March 2–3. Eclipses act like bottlenecks: light is obscured beforehand, and things may appear stuck or “waiting.” In the aftermath, there is often a profound release of energy, akin to a champagne cork flying out of the bottle. New information is revealed, and we can move forward with greater ease and a renewed sense of freedom.

Wishing you inner freedom this March!

MINDFUL MARCH PLANNER

1st–3rd: The month begins with the build-up to the Full Moon at 12° Virgo. This Full Moon is a total lunar eclipse and will be exact at 06:37 in New York on March 3. Take note that Virgo is a sign that encourages us to sort the wheat from the chaff in our lives.

Use the 1st and 2nd to get organized, while not giving in to the energetic frenzy that often accompanies the build-up to a Full Moon. With Mars switching signs into Pisces on the 2nd, energy levels may need adjustment. Slow down. With Mercury in Pisces retrograde until the 19th, allow extra time if you are traveling, and don’t be surprised by delays.

At the eclipse, one may wish to take it easy and reflect on all that is complete and whole (holy) in your life, akin to a prayer of gratitude. Once the Moon begins to move away from the Sun and the eclipse unwinds (Tuesday evening in New York), move forth with clarity and confidence.

6th–10th: On the 6th, Venus, also known as Ishtar, enters Aries, where she will merge with Saturn and Neptune over the next couple of days. Global events will once again be highlighted as the world order realigns. In our personal space, we may experience the dance of fire and waterinitiative and feeling, action and repose. With three planets at the Aries Point, it may be impossible to hide our true heart’s wish at this time. With a generous trine between the Sun and Jupiter in water signs, we are asked to honor our true identity.

Some may feel quietly joyful and abundant, enhanced by Jupiter ending its retrograde cycle. Allow this feeling to grow before taking action.

18th–21st: New Moon at 28° Pisces (March 18–19). Plant seeds for the new cycle about to unfold. As the Moon begins to grow in fertile Pisces, the Sun prepares to enter fiery Aries and initiate the start of the new year. The Sun’s entry into Aries heralds the Equinox, and we celebrate the beginning of another cycle (solar year) on Earth.

Just as Venus did before, the Sun will now join Saturn and Neptune, and truth will be revealed. Let this light shine into your life and illuminate areas that are ready for change. With Mercury moving direct on the 20th, clarity will emerge.

30th: The month ends with Venus entering her home base, Taurus, facilitating some much-needed grounding (earth). Take a stroll, create a home-cooked meal with fresh ingredients, and reset for the start of April. Find your inner spring!

Wishing everyone a liberating and connected March. Happy birthday to those who celebrate this month!

May the Sun shine upon you,
Catherine

Poem by Kabir:

Clouds grow heavy; thunder goes.
Rain drives in from the east, its patter falls on
the sides of houses.
Rain can be destructive, wiping out boundary marks.
But the soil needs careecstatic love has sprouts,
now, and renunciation.
Let the rain feed both.
Only the farmer with intelligence actually brings his harvest back to this farmyard.
He will fill the granary bins, and feed both the wise men
and the saints.
