July 31st – August 1st:  The month begins with a first quarter Moon and Venus in Cancer square both Saturn and Neptune in Aries. With Venus triggering the Aries Point, energies come forward onto the world’s stage – this could be a disruptive time for some. Others may experience tension between splurging and cutting back. Let’s take a moment now to ask ourselves what we truly value and to place our attention there.

7th – 11th: Mars changes signs then trines both Uranus and Pluto, and opposes Saturn and Neptune – and there’s a Full Moon on the 9th! This is a concentrated period of time – use it with intention. Mars leaves Virgo for the land of Libra, where it will travel until September 23rd. The highest expression of Mars in Libra is initiating action which is well-considered – and getting a lot done without forcing things. A golden pattern forming between Mars, Uranus and Pluto in air signs will offer profound breakthroughs on the technological and scientific front, and each one of us can “tap in” to this energy. Use a gentle touch.

9th: The Full Moon at 16° Aquarius offers enormous creative and/or work-related insights and inspiration! With Venus approaching Jupiter in comfort-loving Cancer (exact on the 12th), this is also a good weekend to put your phone off and relax with an inspirational book. Try to get the balance just right between using the energy for work and having some time to rest deeply. We cannot receive inspiration from the Source if we are constantly filling our minds with information.

On the 11th, Mercury, our communication planet, moves direct after being retrograde since July 18th – take this day to mull over – rather than respond quickly to – demands.

It is noteworthy that together with all “the good stuff”, Mars is in great tension with Saturn and Neptune during this period. There may be global tensions surrounding action versus inaction, as well as personal “second-guessing”. A positive way to work with this energy is to affirm that action is indeed possible now – and can be accomplished without forcing the issue.

19th-20th: The Moon, Venus and Jupiter are all in Cancer – an emotional swoon or a divinely open heart!

22nd-23rd: The Sun enters Virgo and brings the New Moon – happy birthday dear Virgo friends!! The New Moon at 0° Virgo offers grounding and support for new beginnings. With the Sun and Moon both moving towards a dynamic aspect with Uranus the Awakener, this may also be a time of agitation or liberation – perhaps a bit of both! Regardless, there is energy to begin again.

26th: Venus dances into Leo and harmonizes with Saturn and Neptune – our financial house is hopefully better ordered now or we’ve made plans to regulate our budget. This is a perfect week to organize our creative or office space.

31st: The month ends as it began, with a first quarter Moon – give thanks –
