Astrology Forecast for March 2024... an overview of time!
Greetings Dear Astrology Friends,
February released powerful energies for change as Pluto in Aquarius was joined first by Mars, then Venus, on the tail-end of the February 9 New Moon.
Many of us have been shifting in the most extraordinary ways – new jobs, new relationships, new babies, new travels, new studies, and new levels of spiritual understanding. Many of you wrote to share your stories of “feeling the pressure to change”!
The Full Moon on February 24 then brought to light the areas where we needed to clean out and shape up, inspiring us to embody a new type of care for our lives and for the lives of those around us. ‘Your health is your greatest gift!’, the Virgo Full Moon seemed to whisper.
What is being birthed now is important so pay particular attention to what influences are entering your life, and which people are coming and going in your life, during late February, March and April. This is a time to free yourself from stagnation! This is a time to push forward and to embrace change! It’s also a good time to plan something powerful for the year’s end, when Pluto enters Aquarius for good after November 20.
This year is the time to let go and be willing to say goodbye to whatever you are still holding onto since 2008. Say goodbye with grace.

Welcome to the month of March! This is the time of year when those of us who live in the northern hemisphere start to look forward to the stirrings of spring, initiated by the Sun’s move into Aries at the vernal equinox on March 19, 2024 (11:06 pm, New York).
For those of you with Sun, Moon or Ascendant in one of the mutable signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius or Pisces, you have most likely been feeling the pressure to take on more responsibility and to push through to the next level as the year gets under way. February’s Full Moon on the 24th intensified this need, and the month of March continues to reveal opportunities surrounding this theme. Are you ready to step up?
With Pisces season now upon us, we are in fact all feeling the energy of Saturn, an energy which asks us to accept what is in front of us instead of deferring it for a later time or trying to load it onto someone else! It’s time to face life’s challenges.

Pisces season is a time of transition and fluidity. Happy Birthday, dear Pisces readers! Let’s take a look at the upcoming New Moon chart.
The Pisces Sun and Moon are pincered between Saturn and Neptune at this New Moon, augmenting the usual dreaminess of Pisces season with a dose of reality. Use this two-week period of new beginnings wisely:
- Try to see through the fog of “tomorrow” by examining what holds you back from taking action today!
- Take a concrete step toward something which may feel risky but which you know is on the right track for your life.
- Courage is thick on the ground over the next two weeks, courtesy of a Mars-Uranus hard aspect. This is not the time to shy away from action, especially as communication-maverick Mercury is in a position to support us in speaking up and speaking out. (If you have planets or angles around 17- 20 degrees of the fixed signs of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius, you will be most impacted.)
- Say YES to new groups, new projects, and new opportunities!
Further planetary support is offered by the slowly forming Jupiter-Uranus conjunction, an optimistic planetary combination where expansive energies meet rule-breaking ones:
- Open up to experimentation, renewal, spirituality and innovation!
- Pent-up stress that you have been carrying for months may now be released, so be mindful of how you express this energy.
- Check all your facts before you commit to anything. Beware of scams or anything that sounds too good to be true
Full Moon in Aries, Lunar Eclipse at 5° Aries, March 25, 2024
The Jupiter-Uranus conjunction continues to build during March, only becoming exact on April 20, so we will all feel its upbeat vibration as the equinox approaches and the Moon waxes to full. During these lead-in days ‘Keep calm and carry on’, especially as there are many energetic fluctuations during this time.
March 19 (give or take a day, depending on your time zone) heralds the spring equinox as the Sun bounds into Aries – and day and night are of equal length. At the equinox:
- Take the pulse of your life, apply the Goldilocks Rule, and adjust the balance to get things “just right”.
- Walk in nature to make the most of the Sun’s rays at this special time of year. The Aries Sun is rejuvenating and aids in augmenting our vitality.
With the Full Moon in Libra, calling for moderation and wise counsel, and the Sun in Aries, urging bold action without hesitation, we may find ourselves torn between keeping silent and speaking out. As Mars joins both Venus and Saturn in Pisces at this time, we may feel inclined to act with compassionate strength. However, as this Full Moon is also an eclipse, our best course of action may be to:
- Pause before making any major life decisions or acting decisively.
- If practical, it would be prudent to wait until after the New Moon solar eclipse on April 8 before we commit to a set course of action.
The best way to use this Full Moon energy is to think out of the box and make time to try something new in your life. Freedom is a state of mind, says Jupiter-Uranus!
